Buttermilk cheddar biscuits recipe

Who don’t like scones or biscuits like a snack or when you want to coffee you wake up at morning and you don’t want to eating as breakfast , its good idea to start your day with coffee and small bite from any kind of scones or biscuits .
Also i make it a lot of different kind of biscuits to my kids for lunch box it’s good idea to make different kinds sometimes i make it kind of sweety bite and another time i make salty , any way i’m going start today to share with you this recipe and i will share other scones and recipes i already make it at home for me 😉 and for my family .

2 cups all-purpose flour,plus more as needed.
1 tablespoon baking powder .
1-1/2 kosher salt .
12 tablespoons ( 1 1/2 sticks)cold unsalted butter,diced .
1/2 cup cold buttermilk,shaken .
1 cold extra-large egg .
1 cup grated extra-sharp cheddar .
1 egg,beaten with 1 tablespoon water or milk.
sea salt, optional .
* Bake for 20 to 25 min , until the top be brown *


 Place 2 cups of flour,baking powder,salt in the bowl .
In electric mixer add butter to flour mixer on low speed until the butter is the size of peas .
Combine the buttermilk,egg and beat lightly with fork ,with the mixer still on low quickly add the buttermilk to the flour mixture and mix until moistened .
In a small bowl mix the cheddar with small handful of flour and mix , with mixer until on low add the cheese to the dough, mix only until roughly combined .
Dump out onto a well-floured board and knead lightly about 6 times.
Roll the dough out to a rectangle 10 by 5 inches,in floured knife cut the dough lengthwise in half and then across in squares.
Transfer to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper .
Brush the tops with egg wash, sprinkle the salt ( option )
